I’m Addie, an aspiring essayist who has been scribbling stories since I was a young teen. I was born in the U.S., but I carry a Caribbean heart wherever I go.
Here on The A.D.torials (a play on my initials), I share little and big adventures alongside my partners in crime, Nini & TaiTai. I hold a BA in Public Relations and an MA in Education, but it’s curiosity, memory, and observation that shape most of what I write.
I’m drawn to music that lingers and meals that feel like home, especially Italian and Creole Cajun cooking. I love stories that reveal something small but true.
Cashmere, confetti, chiantis, calligraphy, spy stories, and double chocolate chip Frappuccinos are just a few of my favorite things, and they often find their way into my stories.
The Adtorials is a collection of things I notice: moments, books, music, quotes, places, and the quiet details that tend to stay.
